Assignment: "Create a fictitious movie credit sequence"
My credit sequence is for an imaginary sequel to "The Parent Trap".
However, this time around, it's not a lighthearted family comedy. I
re-contextualize the original story into a Science Fiction
thriller, and I recast Hayley Mills (and Hayley Mills) as
super-powerful byproducts of a secret military experiment.
Compositing is done in Adobe After Effects and edited in Apple
Final Cut Pro. "Body Fluid" elements were shot with a Canon XL1 and
a 5 gallon aquarium, and archive footage is from archive.org. The font is
"Chemist", designed by my friend Cathy Davies. The Walt
Disney corporation has no idea that I did this.
Obvious similarities to Kyle Cooper's work is totally intentional.
